What are my purchasing options?
We offer three ways to buy: Bulk Shares (whole, half, or quarter bison with maximum variety and best value per pound), Bundles & Boxes (curated selections like our Steak Box, Ground Bison Box, or 30lb Box—perfect for specific preferences without the full commitment), and Individual Cuts (steaks, roasts, ground bison, and specialty items available by the package). Bulk shares require 3-16 cubic feet of freezer space depending on size, while boxes and individual cuts need much less. Some products are also available as subscriptions for added convenience.
How does shipping work?
We ship nationwide via UPS Ground every Monday and Tuesday. Orders are vacuum-sealed and shipped frozen in insulated boxes with gel packs or dry ice. Delivery typically takes 1-4 business days depending on your location, and you'll receive tracking information once your order ships. We also offer local pickup at convenient Colorado locations. All packaging is curbside recyclable.
Is bison healthier than beef?
Yes! Bison is leaner than beef, higher in protein, iron, and omega-3 fatty acids, and lower in calories and saturated fat. It's one of the most nutrient-dense red meats available.
